The National Capital Tour has an extremely rich history of providing quality racing to all levels of riders, and has been the springboard to the careers of many past and present professional riders.

The 2018 edition will be the final race in the NSW Premiership Series Mens’ and Masters categories. For more info, visit the NSW Premiership Series page.

The race is held on some of Canberra’s most well known roads amongst Canberra cyclists, while also creating new courses that constantly evolve how the tour is raced. This year the tour returns to the Mount Majura course that was first used in last year’s edition. Prior to this will be an Individual Time Trial along Majura Road that will reward the winner with the leaders jersey, and will show early indications of who has form. The final day presents good opportunities for the sprinters, as well as long rage attacks to rattle up the general classification.
